Protekt offers a multifunctional protection set which is concerned about our daily fears and worries. The proposed products and their variations are fictive or extracted from their normal environment. Protekt is the accidental result due to the mixture of a pharmaceutical remedy and a useless household appliance.
Limited edition of 300 issues /separately numbered (offset/silk-screen printed). Edited by Paul Kirps, Protekt was part of the “safe-design takes on risk” exhibition which took place in October 2005 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Protekt is also part of the MoMA's permanent design collection and the "Graphische Sammlung" at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich.
